When The Buyer Backs Out: Real Estate Sales Solutions

The first time I sold a house, I had no idea that the buyer could back out of the contract partway through. I was taken aback when it happened to me, and my real estate agent had to explain the process of terminating the contract and requesting the earnest deposit. After the contract was terminated, I spent a lot of time researching why a buyer could back out of a sale, what I could do about it as the seller, and ways to minimize the risk of it happening. I created this site to share what I've learned in the hopes of preventing other homeowners from experiencing what I did. I hope it helps you to be better prepared as you sell your home.

Disney Vacation-Club Sales: 3 Financial Reasons to Use Professional Real-Estate Agents

A Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a unique point-based timeshare system that many families and tourists seek out when staying on Disney properties. If you are ready to part with your annual points, then you can sell them to other tourists looking to join the vacation club. Dealing with these types of transactions can be complicated and come with a lot of details. This is why it's important to work with real-estate agents on selling your DVC points properly. Along with all of the legal details, there are three financial reasons to use these agents and help sell your points quickly.

No Traveling

The legal contracts and transactions for a DVC sale often need to take place in Florida. Instead of your booking another vacation, you can have a DVC real-estate worker complete all of the paperwork and tasks that need to be done in the state. Any type of signature or agreement on your part can be done through email or fax machines. This allows you to stay home and avoid extra travel expenses. Within a matter of time, your DVC will sell, and you can enjoy all of the benefits from the comfort of your own home.

No Extra Fees

When looking for a DVC agent, you can find reputable companies that do not charge extra fees. Along with basic taxes and different government fees, the only other payout you will pay to a real-estate agent is a commission fee. This eliminates extra costs for appraisal fees, listing fees, or promotional fees. As you sell your DVC, you will get the most profit possible by working with a listing agent.

Multiple Types of Listings

To help promote your DVC, a real-estate company will often use multiple types of listings. Instead of paying for your own listings, you can count on a real-estate company for all different types of listings that will help encourage a quick sale. For example, along with listing the points online, they may also reach out to local communities. This includes newspaper listings or promotional pamphlets that are placed in high-traffic tourist areas. By exposing your listing to as many people as possible, your DVC can sell faster and not cost you anything for any of these listings. Along with the listings, real-estate agents may have a waiting list through which the listing is sent out to potential buyers. This gives your DVC direct access to customers looking to buy right away.

As you plan out your sale, be ready to ask real-estate agent any questions you have. This will make it easier to understand the various ways you're saving money and earning the maximum profit on your listing. Talk to a company such as DVC Sales for more information.
