When The Buyer Backs Out: Real Estate Sales Solutions

The first time I sold a house, I had no idea that the buyer could back out of the contract partway through. I was taken aback when it happened to me, and my real estate agent had to explain the process of terminating the contract and requesting the earnest deposit. After the contract was terminated, I spent a lot of time researching why a buyer could back out of a sale, what I could do about it as the seller, and ways to minimize the risk of it happening. I created this site to share what I've learned in the hopes of preventing other homeowners from experiencing what I did. I hope it helps you to be better prepared as you sell your home.

The Benefits Of Hiring A Security Guard To Supplement Your Existing Security System

With so many different security products on the market, more and more business owners are choosing to overlook the benefits of hiring a live security guard in favor of automated security systems. While these automated systems do have many benefits to offer, such as the ability to immediately alert law enforcement or capture video evidence of a break in, there are many security benefits which only a live security guard can provide.

Preventative Action

Automated security systems only have the ability to perform certain actions in response to acts already in progress. For instance, an alarm system can contact the police if an alarm sensor is tripped. However, this system cannot spot the prowler lurking around outside and contact the police before this individual is able to enter the building. This type of preventative action can only be taken by a security guard, like from S&S Security Services.

Immediate Response

When an automated alarm system sends out a distress call, this call must first be handled by the alarm monitoring service who will typically attempt to contact the property owner to verify the presence of an emergency. If they are unable to contact the property owner or if the emergency is verbally verified, the alarm company will then contact the appropriate emergency response services and have them dispatched to the property. This process can take several minutes. In a true emergency, this type of delay in response can mean the difference between life and death.

When hiring a security guard, you will have the benefit of a trained professional who is able to respond immediately if a threat should arise. While a security guard is not a substitute for law enforcement, they can help to contain a situation and prevent innocent people from being injured until law enforcement can arrive.

Take Your Business Off The Target List

Automated security systems claim to help you avoid becoming a target by deterring potential criminals. However, in order for these systems to be most effective in capturing criminal acts, they must be placed out of sight where the criminal is not aware of their presence. Consequently, these systems will often fail to provide the crime deterrent that business owners where hoping for.

With the services of a security guard, you can be sure that there is always a visible security presence on your property. In many cases, this visible security, combined with the threat of immediate reaction to any threat, will be enough to deter criminals from making your business their next target.
